Gregory Porter - 1960 What?

4 de abril de 1968. Martin Luther King en el balcón del Motel Lorraine. Un balazo en la garganta acaba con su vida. El joven afroamericano se había desplazado a Memphis para apoyar a los basureros negros locales que reclamaban en huelga una mejora salarial y mismo trato que a los trabajadores blancos. Tras el asesinato, la ciudad de Memphis negoció el fin de la huelga de una manera favorable a los basureros.
Luther King vivió barriendo la basura del apartheid estadounidense, solo su muerte consiguió extinguirlo.

No es de extrañar que personas como Luther King inspiren canciones que son verdaderas obras maestras, como esta de Gregory Porter.
