Entrevista - Mugga: Sensualidad con sello nacional

No cometas el grave error. No hagas juicio de valor sin haber escuchado la canción entera. Los temas de Mugga nunca son predecibles, no vale con escuchar 5 ó 10 segundos. Te aseguro que, te guste o no su estilo, te sorprenderán sus variaciones.

Una amalgama bien calibrada de estilos protagoniza tanto su primer LP Polar como sus trabajos anteriores. Melodías potentes que rezuman sensualidad por todas partes.

Sus integrantes dicen que no tienen un estilo concreto… “sí, hay grooves y slap bass que emanan funk; sí, hay delays y reverbs que recuerdan al post-rock; sí, hay secciones instrumentales y solos eternos que recuerdan al rock psicodélico y progresivo de los 70; sí, hay percusión y ritmos que irradian energía latina; sí hay pedales, sintetizadores, efectos, loops y melodías atonales que evocan música experimental”.

¿Estáis bajo el sello de alguna discográfica o producís vosotros directamente? ¿Cómo os las habéis apañado?

No estamos bajo ninguna discográfica, todo el trabajo lo hacemos nosotros. Para el último disco creamos una campaña de crowdfunding que, gracias al apoyo de fans, familia y amigos, nos permitió grabar nuestro primer LP en los estudios RedLed, uno de los mejores de España.
