Los miembros de esta banda se llevaban tan mal que la formación duró sólo 25 meses. Aún así les dio tiempo a convertirse en referente a nivel internacional, a hacer temas novedosos y de gran calado social. Éste es ahora todo un clásico, al que ya estamos muy acostumbrados. No por eso hay que quitarle importancia, escúchalo como si fuese la primera vez y fíjate en la letra.

La canción está inspirada en las revueltas de Sunset Strip, manifestaciones que se dieron en EEUU, promovidas sobre todo por estudiantes, contra la guerra de Vietnam. Se convirtió en un himno activista, pero realmente lo único que hace es describir una de esas manifestaciones.
